MOMS Club Board

The MOMS Club board is a group of elected volunteers who work together to keep the club organized and active. We produce a monthly calendar of activities for moms and kids to participate in, as well as a monthly newsletter detailing important club events and information. We also serve as the liason between the local chapter and our state coordinator. Elections are held in June, and are open for any member in our local chapter who would like to run for a position on the board. Questions, concerns, and new ideas are always welcome. Members can email board members directly or send correspondence to anchorbaymomsclub@gmail.com. We do our best to meet the needs of our members.

Colleen M.

President

Colleen is a recent New Baltimore resident. She moved to the area with her family in December 2014 and she joined MOMS Club shortly after.  She has been married to the love of her life since 2011. In 2013, they were graced with the most precious daughter and their family was complete. Colleen graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Family Community Services with a Health Promotion Specialization. She worked as an Office Manager at a case management company prior to becoming a stay-at-home mom. She currently works part-time for New Baltimore Parks and Recreation. Colleen has served as chairman of the Sunshine Committee and the MOM Prom Committee. This is her first executive board position and she looks forward to leading the club with kindness, respect, encouragement and support.

Elizabeth R.

Administrative VP

Elizabeth graduated  from Plymouth State University in Plymouth NH in 2005 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education & minor in Dance. After college, she worked as a toddler teacher by day and dance teacher by night. In 2007, she married her college sweetheart, who is in the United States Coast Guard, and they had a son in 2010 and a daughter in 2012. Elizabeth became a stay at home mom and joined the MOMS Club of Concord NH as soon as her first child was born. Shortly after, the family moved to CT briefly and then in August 2014 they moved to New Baltimore, MI. She was excited to know that there was a MOMS Club of Anchor Bay and joined as soon as they got here.

Katie C.

Membership VP

Katie is a stay at home mother of three boys, ages 11, 5, and 2. She graduated from Eastern Michigan University with a Bachelor’s degree in fashion merchandising and a minor in art. She grew up in Trenton Michigan, located about an hour west of New Baltimore. Before marrying her husband in 2014, they lived together in Baltimore, MD for two years where Katie aspired to be a stylist and fashion photographer. After a short lived, (yet memorable) time together in Baltimore, they took the opportunity to move back home when her husband was offered a position in Port Huron. Since then she’s had the privilege of staying at home with her three boys. Katie and her family moved to New Baltimore in 2016 after living in Port Huron for four years. Soon after, she joined Moms Club and has made many wonderful friends since! She is still deeply passionate about art and design, and spends as much time as she can on her sewing machine. Katie hopes to one day manage her Etsy shop full time and continue to work from home.This is Katie’s first board position as Membership Vice President and she is very excited for the opportunity!

Lindsey R.

Treasurer

Lindsey is a busy stay at home mom to four children ages 14, 13, 5 and . In a former life, Lindsey was a financial controller. She met her husband in 2000 and after 8 years of friendship they realized they were obviously perfect for one another, they married in 2010 and the rest is history as they say. Lindsey has been a member of MOMS club since September 2014 and in that short amount of time feels as though she’s already made friends to last a lifetime. She has served on the Sunshine Committee and Mom Prom Committee and is looking forward to a third term as treasurer!

Dotti B.

Secretary

Dotti holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing Management from Ryerson University. As a student, she was very active in student groups including serving as President of the Polish Student Society, Student Groups Coordinator, and member of the Executive Committee of the Ryerson Student Union. After graduation, she worked as a Marketing Consultant for a software company in the construction industry, then moving on to the automotive industry working in website management, digital asset management, and market research. She moved with her family to Chesterfield in January 2016 from Toronto shortly after the birth of her second child, coincidentally next door to an active Mom’s Club member who introduced her to the group and helped her feel welcome. She is excited to serve her first term as Secretary.
