The MOMS Club board is a group of elected volunteers who work together to keep the club organized and active. We produce a monthly calendar of activities for moms and kids to participate in, as well as a monthly newsletter detailing important club events and information. We also serve as the liaison between the local chapter and our state coordinator. Elections are held in June, and are open for any member in our local chapter who would like to run for a position on the board. Questions, concerns, and new ideas are always welcome. Members can email board members directly or send correspondence to anchorbaymomsclub@gmail.com. We do our best to meet the needs of our members.

Lindsey has been a member of MOMS Club for 5 years. She’s served on the board as treasurer 3 times previously in addition to serving on both the Sunshine and Mom Prom Committee. She has been married to her wonderful husband Jacob for nine years and they have four children together. She previously worked as a Financial Controller before taking a break to stay home with the kids. Her hobbies are fitness, listening to podcasts, reading, being outdoors and spending time with her family. She is very excited to be the President for the upcoming year as she has enjoyed her previous years of service very much!

Originally from Warren, Maria and her partner, Tim, now reside in Chesterfield. They have been together for 3 years but they have known each other since elementary school! They have two handsome boys together. Brycen is 2 and Dexter is 1. They keep her on the edge of her seat all day! Before becoming a mom, Maria attended Central Michigan University studying Event Management and Hospitality. She was able to study abroad in Australia during her last semester. Previously, Maria worked at Lake St. Clair Metro Park in the maintenance department. She has 2 sisters and loves playing sports; basketball, volleyball and softball however, her all time favorite thing to do is play video games! Maria is looking forward to being on the board and getting to know more of our members. She cannot wait to see what this new year will bring to her family and our club!

Shelly grew up in Warren as one member of a large family. She is one of 11 children. Prior to being a stay-at-home mom she worked for a media representation firm in various sales positions, including her last two years as an Account Executive. She has been married for 6 years to her wonderful husband, Mike, and they moved to New Haven in 2014. Now, Shelly stays home with her two wonderful, wild and fun-loving boys. Wyatt is 4 and Riley is 2. Shelly loves exploring new parks with her kids and camping as a family. She is a huge Tigers fan and enjoys bonfires, catching up with family and friends and baking. She joined MOMS Club in March of 2018 and was the Administrative VP for the 2018-2019 year. She is looking forward to switching up her role and serving as the Membership VP for the 2019-2020 year. She is excited to help potential members find out how great it is to be a part of the MOMS Club of Anchor Bay, MI.

Merri was born and raised in California and found her way to Michigan during her college years through her husband and loved it enough to stay. Before becoming a stay-at-home-mom she fell into the Title word when she applied for a job with Quicken Loans right after college graduation and ended up at Title Source. She learned a lot and can see herself going back into the field when she eventually goes back to work. She holds a Bachelors of Arts in Music from Alma College with an emphasis in vocal music, specially classical/opera. She has one almost 3 year old little man, Collin and a 5 month old, Logan, who keep her on her toes and smiling/laughing daily.  In her spare time she enjoys cooking, especially recipes she can do with Collin as he loves cooking. Joining MOMS Club has been a huge blessing for her and her boys and she is looking forward to serving on the board and can’t wait for another great year ahead!

Danielle grew up in Chesterfield and then went on to attend Michigan State University where she received a bachelors in Deaf Education and a masters in Special Education. After college she taught at both Berrien Springs Middle School and the Genesee Intermediate School District. After her first child was born she threw in the teaching towel in order to stay home full time. Danielle and her family found themselves back in the area when they moved to New Baltimore in late 2017. She became a member of MOMS Club shortly after and has loved the friendships she has been able to create for both herself and her children. She currently has two sons, Carter who is three years old and Riley who is six months old. In her free time she enjoys spending time outside and relaxing on the couch watching TV. This will be her first year on the board and she is excited to have a larger roll in the community.
